At the Alkawthar Foundation, we nurture both the hearts and minds of our youth
through practical learning, spiritual guidance, and skill development—preparing them
to step confidently into the wider world.
“Beyond Supporting Our Youth”
We are not only cares for the children in our home, but also extends support to underprivileged
Muslim communities in need. We instill a spirit of generosity in our youth, encouraging them to
become givers—ready to lend a helping hand whenever the opportunity arises.
Our outreach includes disaster relief efforts such as fire, flood, cold weather emergencies, and the
COVID-19 pandemic, as well as providing iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan.
“Faith-Based Activities for Religious Sustainability”
We uphold Islamic principles through a variety of activities that strengthen and sustain religious
practice. These include Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers, the measurement and distribution of
Fitrah rice, Qurban (sacrificial) offerings, religious training for new Muslims (Muallaf), ongoing
Islamic education, and vocational development programs.
“Empowering Youth Through Skill-Building Activities”
To prepare our children for life beyond the foundation, we organize a variety of programs
that foster personal growth and confidence.
These include life skills camps, educational
field trips, parent meetings, National Children's Day celebrations, as well as opportunities
to participate in speech contests, nasheed competitions, and the vibrant Saman dance
performances.
We aspire for the youth of Alkawthar to grow into capable, compassionate
individuals—able
to care for themselves, support their families, and contribute positively to society.
