The beginning

“Alkawthar foundation was founded through the inspiration of Hajji Paisarn Bin Samsuddin (Ajarn Paisarn Promyong) after the 2004 Tsunami and the unrest in the three southern border provinces of Thailand, in order to provide assistance and healing for a large number of orphans. The initiative was joined by Hajji Sathaporn Watthanawet and supported by a waqf of land donated by Hajji Faizol and Hajjah Ramah Promyong. The first building was completed in 2009, welcoming the first group of over 10 youths. With growing support, a small mosque was later constructed from the generous donation of Hajjah Luqoyyah Promyong (elder sister).  
At present, Alkawthar foundation cares for more than 60 orphans and underprivileged children, and more than 30 have already graduated. The official opening ceremony of Alkawthar foundation was held on 21 May 2009, graciously presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, The Princess Suddhanarinatha.
 Since then, the foundation has continued to receive support from kind-hearted donors, enabling effective operations and youth care. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone, and we offer shukr to Almighty Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for granting us the blessing to be part of Alkawthar foundation.”

Message from the Founder

Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala, who has granted me this day—a day in which my life is surrounded by innocent children, who are like precious gifts. For over 16 years, I have transformed my life from one filled with pursuits and competitions in many dimensions to one that is devoted to living among these divine gifts from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala.
From the very beginning, when there was nothing to rely on, my life has since been fulfilled by the presence of these youth and the dedicated team who share the same heart and vision. I am grateful to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala with every breath for all the goodness that He has bestowed upon me. After years of endurance and perseverance, I now see how truly worthwhile these blessings are, granted by Allah (SWT).
From this day forward, with the time that remains in my life, I commit myself to this mission with steadfast determination, upholding this trust with a heart that is deeply tied to Allah (SWT).
I humbly invite my brothers and sisters to be part of Alkawthar foundation—a home of love for the believers—so that together we may nurture and empower these youth, granting them opportunities and enabling them to stand firmly in society.
May Allah (SWT) bestow His love, mercy, happiness, and blessings upon you all, and may you remember the youth of Al-Qausar Home in your du‘a. Wabillahi al-tawfiq wal-hidayah. Wassalam.

Vision

To be an organization firmly grounded in the principles of Islam, dedicated to promoting and supporting education for orphans and the underprivileged, while strengthening their ability to live a stable life in accordance with Islamic values.

Mission

1. To study and identify challenges in order to find effective approaches that continuously promote and support the education of youth—both in general academics and in Islamic studies. 
2. To establish schools and dormitories for orphans. 
3. To encourage and support religious activities such as Qurban, zakat funds, Islamic lectures, dissemination of religious learning materials, and other educational resources. 
4. To promote community-based activities that foster love, unity, and assistance to those affected by disasters—regardless of race or religion—in order to build harmony and solidarity.

Opening Ceremony

On May 21, 2009, at 4:00 p.m., Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha (Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, the Princess Suddhanarinatha) graciously presided over the inauguration ceremony of the Alkawthar Foundation. Hajji Paisarn Promyong, Chairman of the Foundation, together with the Foundation’s board members, government officials, business representatives, and more than 1,200 attendees, had the honor of welcoming Her Royal Highness. Following the inauguration, Her Royal Highness visited the Foundation’s exhibitions and youth activities.
